BOBBY U IS RUNNERUP
AS YOUNGEST AND OLDEST PARTICIPANTS FACE EACH OTHER IN THE FINAL ROUND
RULES: 7 swings. Players with the top 2 HR totals go into the final round. Fences are age adjusted. 20 ft closer for 50 and over. 40 ft closer for 60 and over.
Joel, the youngest player hit 5 in the first round. Bobby U, the most senior player, also hit 5. He hit 1 homer in his 1st 6 swings, but according to the rule is, if you hit a homer on your last swing you can keep on going until you make an “out.” In dramatic fashion, Bobby U hit 4 consecutive homers and ended up with 5 and tied Joel. They then faced each other in the final round.
Rookie Dave Blitz and The Driller came in third place tied with 3 dingers apiece.
Thanks to all the volunteers
